Melinda Manente

Melinda is an accomplished facilitator, trainer & advisor with over 30 years of experience at global Fortune 100 companies such as Cisco, Parker Hannifin, Intel and General Electric. Best known for her ability to lead change across organizational boundaries, Melinda provides clients with practical strategies to address cultural barriers, improve transactional and operational value streams, and deliver world-class results through employee engagement.


In 2010, Melinda experienced transformation firsthand when she and the leadership team from Intel’s Fab 17 plant dedicated themselves to making small daily improvements to work processes. What began as an experiment to change leader standard work resulted in 6000 improvements per year by front line workers. These included a 60% factory lead time reduction and 12% decreased product cost across a 400+ step complex manufacturing process, in under 6 months.


Throughout her professional career Melinda has served in a variety of improvement roles such as the Global Lean Manager of Parker Hannifin’s Chomerics Division, Global Lean Implementation Leader at Intel and through her own consulting practice.


Melinda is a graduate of the Leaders for Global Operations program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology where she earned a MS degree in Business and an MS in Engineering. She has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Clarkson University. Outside of work, you can find Melinda playing board games with family, hiking or skiing in the White Mountains, or with her curling league. Melinda resides in Sudbury, MA.
